The Tenafly High School Home School Association (H.S.A.) is committed to enriching the educational experience of our students and promoting family involvement in the school. The H.S.A. supports the THS administration and staff, and also sponsors many projects and programs not funded by the district that are designed to maximize our students’ educational opportunities and learning experiences at Tenafly High School.

The following is a partial list of the special projects and programs that have been funded by the H.S.A. to improve our school:

  • Writing Center
  • Student Center (in progress)
  • Climbing Wall
  • Technology upgrades/purchases, including electronic school sign
  • Speakers seminars and programs, including poetry program and seminars on the college admissions process
  • Student scholarships
  • Project Graduation
  • Parent Breakfast with Dr. K
  • Staff Holiday Luncheon

To help fund these projects and programs, we collect annual membership dues from each family, and also sponsor several fundraisers throughout the year, including the Mock SAT/ACT, the Tenafly Tiger Tribute Wall, and a Summer Program Expo.

The H.S.A. helps foster our special THS community by encouraging parents to participate in their children’s school experience. If you volunteer, we thank you. If you would like to become involved, we welcome you. Please join us. Contact any of the Executive Board members to find out how you can get involved.
